If you're running Windows 8 or 8.1, on the 29th July you'll be able to upgrade to Windows' shiny new operating system, Windows 10, for free. You may already have seen little bubbles popping up when you log on, encouraging you to go ahead and upgrade. But should you take the plunge?
Windows 8 is not perfect by any means, and Microsoft are eager to get as many PCs onto 10 as they can – as quickly as possible. But there are concerns about the speed at which Windows 10 has been put together. With an earlier release date than many industry commentators expected, lots of people harbour concerns that Microsoft may not have had time to fix every bug and glitch. Time will tell. But for now, should you do it? For free – why the hell not?

The Telegraph's gaming journalists have been having a ridiculously good time by the looks of things. In this epic slideshow, they rank every single one of Mario Kart 8's 48 tracks – ostensibly so you don't have to. We're not sue they've done a service to the nation here, but this feat certainly deserves at least a little kudos. Oh, and it's a great read if you're a gamer too!

The Thermal Camera You Can Connect To Your Smartphone
For wannabe spies and technology fanatics, plumbers and DIYers, this little device is the stuff undercover fantasies are made of – and practical tasks have been waiting for. Known as “Seek”, this clever camera can attached to your smartphone via microSD & used for proper thermal imaging with both iOS and Android. At just $249.00 (coming soon to the UK), this device is vastly cheaper than alternative thermal imaging software, opening great technology up to a whole new consumer marketplace.Mario Kart 8: All 48 Tracks Ranked
